Alcatraz Brochure
I visited Alcatraz several times when I was younger. I loved the history of the island and the media that the island has inspired, from movies to books. So when I was asked to create a mock-up of a travel brochure, Alcatraz seemed like a perfect choice.
This brochure on 11x17 paper. I folded and unfolded the paper many times to come up with the most user-friendly, yet efficient function for the brochure. The green and salmon colors are inspired by the colors within the prison itself — from the cell doors to the cafeteria. The primary typeface was inspired by signage that can be seen on the island and around the bay.
