Hi, I’m Diego, a designer and creative located in California. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Northwest Nazarene University, where I graduated with honors and earned accolades for my dedication to the arts. At NNU, I cultivated a deep appreciation for visual storytelling, branding and the intricate balance of aesthetics and function. 

When it comes to design, I am obsessed with process and problem-solving. I view each design I create as a puzzle I need to solve, with various elements, colors, typography and art styles acting as pieces of a larger picture. This view inspires me to think about my work very holistically. Additionally, seeing projects through from beginning to end and having a hand in the physical creation of a product is my bread and butter. I pride myself on creating designs that are multifaceted and functional, whilst maintaining artistic integrity and visual cleanliness. I am a fluent user of the Adobe, Microsoft and Google Suites, and am an expert in web design.

I have utilized my talents as a contracted designer with companies and organizations across Idaho, Washington and California, including Scentsy, Jukebox Productions, Rix Entertainment, Northwest Nazarene University, the Caldwell Housing Authority, Labyrinth Escape Games, NextGen Youth Group, Add Art Custom Framing and more. 

My creativity is multifaceted. At a personal level, I involve myself in as many creative activities as I can. I enjoy painting, film photography and extracurricular design. I am also a musician — for three years, I have been a vocalist and keyboardist for Jukebox, Idaho’s top-rated, upscale wedding band. 

Collectively, my experiences as a designer, artist, photographer, and musician have enriched my creative arsenal, enabling me to approach projects with a unique and holistic perspective. My journey continues to unfold, each passion infusing into the other, and I am excited to see where these creative paths will lead me next.
